CHORD

CHORD is a very simple, low cost Supply Chain execution solution that automates the progression and tracking of Deliveries & Collections.


The solution enables any driver, whether employed or subcontracted, with any mobile phone, or with access to a landline, to use it without any additional hardware or software and minimal training.

Integration with your existing Traffic Management (TMS) or scheduling system provides CHORD with precise details of driver schedules. System intelligence tracks the status of each driver’s journey from the start of the day through each visit to the end of the day.

CHORD operates through use of a single telephone number and each time a call is made, the system uses voice prompts to guide the driver through a work flow, customised to your operation. The driver is asked to enter specific information using the keys on their phone. It can record audio files to support proof of delivery and conversations between the driver and the traffic office. It is also capable of transmitting SMS texts which can be enabled depending on requirements.

CHORD provides real-time visibility and status reporting over the entire fleet (including sub-contractors) and facilitates proactive management. It automatically identifies runs which are in danger of not meeting scheduled delivery times and escalates these such that the traffic officers workload is simplified and reduced; allowing them to proactively manage your customers expectations.

Discrepancies are recorded before the driver leaves site, giving Customer Services immediate notification and the opportunity to speak to the customer to resolve any issues - often before they are made aware of the problem from their own staff.

As a secure web based application, there is no software to install or hardware purchase costs, just a monthly fee.
